Introduction
The standard setup of our Neuron sensors will not always fit the applications perfect. Therefore, Neuron sensors have some custom configuration possibilities. This article describes what parameters that can be adjusted and the process for requesting such change in configuration. All these adjustments can be made "over the air" due to Neuron's duplex capabilities.
- Measurement frequency
- Ex: Standard for Neuron Temp Surface is every 3 seconds.
- Ex: Standard for Neuron Vibration is every 2 minutes.
- Data communication frequency.
- Ex: Standard is every 2 minutes for most sensors.
- Limits for critical data transmission.
- Ex: Standard for Neuron PT100 is critical data transmission if measurement is +/- 2°C from last data transmission.
Standard values for these configurations vary between sensors and are explained in the sensor’s product sheet.
