Adjusting sampling time on Vibration Sensor

Introduction

Different objects may need different sampling time to achieve optimal readings.
Therefore we have enabled duplex capabilities on our sensors. If you would like to update your sensor to better fit your application, please read this article about Customizing sensor parameters.

Sampling

The sampling time can be adjusted in 4 steps:

• 10 ms
• 83 ms (standard)
• 500 ms
• 1000 ms

High sampling time gives:

• More accurate low frequency response​
• Higher noise immunity

Low sampling time gives

• Lower power consumption
