Battery lifespan

The battery lifespan of the sensor is dependent on several factors, but the most important are transmission frequency and operating temperature. Sensors operating in very hot or cold environments will have shorter battery life, and this should be taken into consideration when mounting the sensors.
Several parameters can be adjusted on the sensors, such as Measurement frequency, Transmission frequency and Trigger for critical data transmission. The standard set of parameters are chosen to get maximum battery life along with excellent measurement capabilities. Adjusting these parameters can be beneficial for some applications, but changes may affect expected battery life.
